Know Your Ubuntu Release

There are many way to know your ubuntu release

First Way - From Command Line
 1. Go To Application > Accessories > Terminal
 2. Type, lsb_release -a
     Here is the ouptpu,

     No LSB modules are available.
     Distributor ID:    Ubuntu
     Description:    Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
     Release:    10.04
     Codename:    lucid
